• ผลิตได้ปริมาณกลางๆ
• ใช้เงินลงทุนกลางๆ

กลุ่ม machine = 1 cell

แล้วเอาแต่ละ cell มาวางใน layout

• ใช้ Product layout: การจัดวางภายใน cell
• ใช้ Process layout: การจัดวางระหว่าง cell
